Warne slams ECB over KP ODI exit

Shane Warne has accused the England and Wales Cricket Board of being ruled by their egos in their handling of Kevin Pietersen

Pietersen was keen to retire from ODI and continue playing Twenty20 internationals, but the ECB would only allow him to play in both forms of the game or neither.

Warne said in The Independent: “Any team that hasn’t got Kevin Pietersen is significantly weaker. He’s a match-winner so that’s a big loss.” —u00a0
