In a pair of black leather pants and a lace-leather top, Priyanka Chopra put up a high-octane act for Star Guild Awards 2015 at Film City Studios. But, if sources are to be believed, it was one of the costliest performances of the evening — she was apparently paid a whopping R1.25 crore for the act that lasted around four minutes.

According to insiders, PeeCee's performance started as soon as she stepped out of her swanky car and walked down the red carpet. It was supposedly on the actress' insistence that such an entry was conceptualised to emphasise her pop-star avatar. A string of cameras had been set along the red carpet trail to follow her right up to the stage.

A source says, "Priyanka and her team had worked hard on the concept and her styling. She danced to the tunes of Assalam E Ishqum from Gunday. The organisers had to loosen their purse strings to pay her Rs 1.25 crore for the performance. This also makes her one of the highest paid Bollywood celebrities for shows."

PeeCee wasn't available for comment.
