New song from 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha', 'Hans Mat Pagli' has been released, and the track is cute, but not super-interesting

With the monsoons here, it’s the time for some romance. A time for coy, sneak-peaks at your love-interest or maybe one for some quiet time together. What really helps make those moments even better and set the mood is some lovely music that is just right. This is what the Hans Mat Pagli song brings to the table. The very first song from the movie 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha' has a starry-eyed Akshay Kumar and girl-next-door Bhumi Pednekar sharing screen space. Although the trailer shows us a very different side of the powerful actress, the song has her going about her day, oblivious of Akshay Kumar.

Sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal, the music is soothing and has an almost silken feel to it. But what makes the music even better is the video, where a moustached Akshay Kumar follows Bhumi around town, taking pictures of her and making sure she is safe (typical Hindi movie lover, or stalker?)
Composed by Vickey Prasad, the song isn't anything special and doesn't really knock your socks off, but it does have its shining moments. A portrayal of the initial days of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s budding romance, Hans Mat Pagli is a one time listen.
Thought to be a strong, thought-provoking movie, based on Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abiyan, Toilet Ek Prem Katha sure promises to be an interesting watch.
