India Test skipper Virat Kohli has joined the bandwagon of sports personalities on Dubsmash with a smashing performance.

The dashing Indian cricketer brings to his debut 'show' the same passion, vigour and style that's he's known for on and off the field. Kohli, who’s known for his anger issues, plays up that fact in the video.

The cricketer re-enacts a scene from ‘Hera Pheri’ as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, a character played by Paresh Rawal in the film. Kohli ‘slaps’ his friend Sandeep Raj, who’s playing Akshay Kumar's character, 'Raju', in the video. Kohli is seen lip-syncing the famous dialogue - "Yeh Baburao ka style hai" – with élan.

And while this video has gone viral on social networking sites with fans of the cricketer truly impressed, it remains to be seen if his debut ‘performance’ impresses his lady-love Anushka Sharma.

Kohli follows in the footsteps of fellow cricketers like Indians Yuvraj Singh and Axar Patel, Aussies Glenn Maxwell and George Bailey, and Pakistanis Ahmed Shehzad and Asad Shafiq.

Pakistani cricketers Ahmed Shehzad and Asad Shafiq had enacted and lip synced a scene from Bollywood blockbuster ‘Sholay’.

Recently, Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal had also made a few Dubsmash videos enacting the same Baburao character.

Tennis star Sania Mirza also made her presence felt on the video messaging application as ‘Gutthi’, a popular comic character from the TV show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’.
