This is the third leopard that has been caught in the past few days. The wild cat was thereby tranquilised and released in the nearby jungle.

Earlier, forest officers of union territory Diu had managed to rescue a leopard from Malala village on the island on Saturday and sent it back to mainland Gujarat.
