The victim used to pass the bungalow every day on her way to dance class. Yadav allegedly followed the girl and somehow obtained her mobile phone number. According to the girl, he then started calling her up claiming he had fallen in love with her. The girl said she ignored his calls, as he was harassing her.

Two days ago, Yadav sent a text message to her stating he was waiting for her on the terrace of her house. Angry, the girl went to the terrace with a friend to confront him but he was not there. She then registered a complaint with the Dindoshi police station.

“The court has remanded Yadav to police custody for three days,” said Jaiwant Mane, senior inspector, Dindoshi police station.u00a0
