Danish tennis ace Caroline Wozniacki hasn’t just moved on from her public split from golfer Rory McIlroy, she may have also fallen in love all over again. The 25-year-old was seen spending some quality time with Houston Texans’ NFL star JJ Watt, sparking rumours of a romance between the two.

Enjoying the new company Though there’s a possibility that they could be just friends hanging out, it is evident from the pictures emerging of the two, that they enjoy each other’s company. The duo first turned heads when they were spotted cheering on Watt’s Wisconsin Badgers during the NCAA basketball championship game against Duke, reported Washington Post.
The American media has already nicknamed the couple Wattniacki. McIlroy and Wozniacki split in May last year, just months after he had proposed to her in Sydney on New Year’s Eve with a USD212,000 ring. Invitations for the November 2014 wedding had already been sent. The couple even spent the morning together, before, later the same day, McIlroy called it off with a 10-minute phone call. Wozniacki then said that for the first five minutes of the call she thought he was joking.
During an interview on a US TV show, the tennis star could not resist the opportunity of taking a dig at her former lover. When asked what her future romantic partner would be like, she said: “I’d like a taller guy, so I can wear my heels.” Watt surely qualifies for the same with his 6ft 5 inch frame, compared to Rory’s 5ft 8 inch height.
Wozniacki sent out a tweet last Sunday congratulating Jordan Spieth on his impressive Masters golf win, which some thought was again a subtle dig at McIlroy. Though there haven’t been any selfies of Wozniacki and Watt together on their Instagram accounts just yet, the couple did post some fun sports training videos online recently.
