The West Bengal Higher Secondary Certificate Exam was conducted in the month of February. The exam began on 15th February with third language paper and concluded on 29th February. After the successful completion of Board exams, WBCHSE had begun extensive preparations to declare the West Bengal 12th Class Result 2016 on time. Looking at 16th May as the date for WBCHSE 12th Result, we can say that their efforts have paid off.

In the previous year, the WB Higher Secondary Result was declared on 29 May 2015. The overall pass percentage was 82.96% much higher in comparison to that of 2014 (78.42%). Contrary to the performance of other Boards, WB HS Result 2015 witnessed a better performance by boys than girls. Their respective pass percentages were recorded at 82.96% and 81.80%.
