"We are a laughing stock out here," roared Manchester-based former India wicketkeeper-batsman Farokh Engineer after India surrendered the fourth Test at Old Trafford in meek fashion on Saturday.

"The team showed no heart for a fight, no passion and this was so disappointing to see," exclaimed Engineer, minutes after India's No 11 batsman Pankaj Singh was castled by England pacer Chris Jordan for England to celebrate their innings and 54-run victory and for the series scoreline to be 2-1 in their favour.

What's wrong with Kohli?
"I don't understand what is wrong with Virat Kohli. He's not getting big scores and is dropping catches. I have such high regard for his batting. And Mahendra Singh Dhoni has kept badly in this series.

It's all so very disappointing," said Engineer (76). Kohli scored just seven on Saturday after his first innings duck.
"I can't understand how we can get out to Moeen Ali. The English attack today didn't even have Stuart Broad (injured while batting). You give your wickets to Moeen Ali?
Every club in Mumbai would have an off-spinner like him," remarked Engineer, who was part of the victorious Indian team which beat England in 1971. Engineer stressed that the Indians would have done well to bat out the day considering the rain forecast for Sunday.
