Noida rape accused admit on video that they found couple making out in a car at a remote place, raped the girl for three hours

on Tuesday night from their lock-up at Noida's Sector 39 police station, the five men arrested on charges of raping a 24-year-old girl said they had got swayed after seeing the girl having sex with her friend in a car parked at secluded Sector 122.
When MiD DAY visited the lock-up, the five were huddled under blankets.
The five accusedu00a0Pushpendra, Shrikant, Sanjay, Gautam and Toniu00a0are all in their early twenties. Pushpendra runs a gym at Sector 40, while the other four are BA first-year dropouts. All five are into farming and dairy business.
"Ten of us were returning at around 6 pm on Monday after playing a cricket match at a village in Noida and saw a car parked at a secluded place near Gali Chowkhandi village. When we peeped inside, we saw a couple in an intimate position," said one of the accused who identified himself as Pushpendra.
The victim, a management student, lives in south Delhi's Lajpat Nagar while her friend lives in Hauz Khas.
"We overpowered the boy and got into the car. The girl was with us for around three hours. After 8.30 pm, we left the spot and her," said another accused. The accused said in those three hours, all ten of them took turns to rape the girl. Contrary to the police claim that the girl was picked up from the Great India Place mall in Noida, the accused said she was inside the car.
Earlier, addressing a press conference, Superintendent of Police, Noida, Ashok Kumar Tripathy said: "We got leads in the case from the victim. Based on the girl's statement we looked for the accused. We soon nabbed them as they were from the nearby Gali Chowkhandi village. We recovered cricket gear and the Wagon R car used in the crime."
Six police teams raided houses of the accused based on the description given by the victim.
The police registered a case under Sections 376 (rape), 344 (wrongful confinement), 394 (voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery), 374 (unlawfully compelling somebody to do something), and 392 (robbery) of the Indian Penal Code. The victim has been sent home after a medical examination. The accused will be presented before Noida's district court on Wednesday.
"The medical examination of the victim showed external injuries. Rape is yet to be confirmed. We are on the lookout for the other five accused," Tripathy said.
The police are still to conduct an identification parade as they are waiting for the girl's medical examination report.
