Even after beating Trinidad & Tobago in a thriller on Monday, Mumbai Indians' stand-in captain Harbhajan Singh said they didn't deserve to win.

"I must congratulate Darren (Ganga) and his team. They were the better side on the day. We didn't deserve to win. We didn't bat sensibly," he said.

Harbhajan felt that Mumbai Indians batsmen played some unnecessary shots and they will have lift up their batting if they want progress further.

"If we keep batting like this, we won't be here for long," he said. Meanwhile, T & T skipper Ganga said the defeat was hard to digest.

"Disappointing, the result. The guys are shattered. Imagine the manner we fought, but didn't come out winning. Definitely ordinary batting, we showed a lot of heart in the field though," he said.
