Ahead of Arsenal's EPL clash against Bolton on Sunday, manager Arsene Wenger insists he has no intention of splashing out on a host of big-money signings to boost squad during the close-season.
The limitations of Wenger's current squad have been brutally exposed over the last two months as the Gunners crumbled under the strain of challenging for a potential quadruple."If you look at our season you cannot come to the conclusion we need a massive change. That would be completely stupid," Wenger said. "We live in a world where when you are the second best by a little everybody says you are rubbish.
"What is good in our world is that everybody is bankrupt, but the guy who doesn't spend is an idiot."
