Kala Ghoda Arts Festival
>> A walk through banking district: Conducted by conservation architects Kruti Garg and Sanaeya Vandrewala, the walk lets you in on the growth and development of banks in Mumbai and ends with a visit to the Central Bank building and its museum.

>> Pen and politics: New York-based artist and writer Molly Crabapple and writer Raghu Karnad will talk about how art and writing impact activism, politics and current realities in a session titled Art and #WW3 in association with the Jaipur Literature Festival 2016.

>> Create glow toys: In an hour-long workshop blending engineering and creative skills, conducted by Varinder Dhawan, a faculty at the Ecole Mondiale World School, kids will learn to make simple, light-emitting circuit toys with ping-pong balls.
Age group: 8 to 14 years ON February 11, 3 pm to 4 pm (registrations begin 30 minutes before the workshop)

>> Inuit throat singers and their tales: Born and raised in the Canadian arctic fishing community of Pangnirtung, Rebecca
(Becky) Ann Kilabuk, along with Jeins Olsen and Emily Qattu Karpik, will enthrall audiences with a throat singing performance featuring traditional stories from Central Asia and Canada. They’ve been roped in by the Consulate General of Canada.

>> From Goretti’s kitchen: If you’re keen to launch your own cookbook, take notes from VJ-turned-chef and author Maria Goretti, who will provide insights into the subject and also teach you how to bake an orange zest cake.
