When Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira came face to face at Salman Khan's home

While shocking details behind Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira's separation come to the fore and both parties trade charges, the former couple chose to keep their emotions in check when they crossed each other's paths recently. The occasion was Eid (July 7) and the venue, Salman Khan's house. Keeping the festive spirit in mind, there were no fireworks, but tension in the air was more than palpable.

For the uninitiated, Shweta is the Sultan star's rakhi sister.

Says a source, “Late that night, Pulkit landed up at Galaxy Apartments to wish Salman. After exchanging pleasantries with him, he struck a conversation with Randeep Hooda, who was also present there. Pulkit was taken aback to see Shweta among the other guests at Salman's house, but preferred not to react. Shweta, too, looked through him. Since there were several people around, they kept to different corners of the house. Salman realised that the two were there, but felt it was not the right time or day to say anything.”

Apart from Salman's family members, rumoured girlfriend, Romanian actor-anchor Iulia Vantur, was also part of the big Eid feast.

Adds the source, “Pulkit is keen to prove that his relationship with Salman remains unaffected despite his differences with Shweta.”

After Salman and Shweta were spotted together at Daisy Shah's play, Begum Jaan, on July 2 at a Bandra auditorium, buzz was that Salman had expressed concern about her separation and asked why a divorce suit had not been filed yet.

Pulkit and Shweta got married in November 2014, but separated less than a year later. Shweta had suffered a miscarriage in mid 2015 (reported by hitlist on July 5, 2016) and was advised rest. It was around that time Pulkit got drawn to his Sanam Re and Junooniyat co-star Yami Gautam, Shweta's neighbours had told this paper.
