Jashn-E-Ghazal is a Mushaira organised at Nehru Centre where you get to listen to a gathering of shayars from all over the subcontinent. The term Mushaira refers to a gathering of poets who recite ghazals and other compositions.

The event has been organised as a tribute to ghazal singer Jagjit Singh by his close associate tabla player Abhinav Upadhyay who has toured with Singh, extensively. A 70-show tour had been planned by Singh last year, which was to culminate with this event.
From this year, the Mushaira will become an annual event. The one-and-half-hour programme will feature ghazals by some of Singh's favourite musicians including Nida Fazli, Nawaz Deobandi, Anjum Rahbar, Mansoor Usmani, Waseem Barelvi, Naseem Nikhat, Manzar Bhopali and Rajesh Reddy.

On Today, 7 pm onwards
At Nehru Centre, Worli.
