A Padma Bhushan awardee, Boner travelled extensively with the musician’s elder brother, dancer Uday Shankar’s troupe and promoted them internationally and in India.
In collaboration with Rietberg Museum, Zürich, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya is presenting Alice from Switzerland: A visionary artist and scholar between two continents.
This exhibition aims to give viewers a view of Boner’s works as well as her life through photographs and personal documents and her efforts to promote cultural understanding between East and West.
