Ali Fazal, who was seen in a blink-and-miss role in Hollywood film 'Furious 7', was invited by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav for a special screening, but what turned out to be surprising is that Ali had a special guest along with him - Sapna Pabbi, his 'Khamoshiyan' co-star.

A source says, “The screening was for limited people. Ali was supposed to attend it alone and then get involved in the post-release promotions. So, all arrangements had been made accordingly. However, at the last minute, Ali informed the organisers about bringing a guest along and that suitable accommodation arrangements be made.”

The organisers then had to redo the travel and hotel bookings. The source adds, “It was surprising that Ali’s special guest turned out to be his co-actor Sapna. Ali was not keen to go alone for the screening and had asked her to accompany him and she agreed. But she was not required to be there as the event was all about his film and her name was not included in the guest list either."
