Daisy Shah's sudden disappearance from make-up artists Bharat and Dorris Godambe's seminar last week set many tongues wagging. What made the actress change her mind about walking the ramp as the showstopper at the last minute?
Sources blamed it on an ill-fitted costume by celeb designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, a version that Bharat himself confirmed only to deny later.
A source says, "Daisy did not like the Sabyasachi saree given to her and the blouse, too, was ill-fitting. So she left the venue and refused to be the showstopper."
Speaking to hitlist, Bharat said, "Yes, Daisy Shah was supposed to walk, but she didn't like the costume. Besides, we had contacted her on short notice. There was no argument. We told her that she will be our showstopper next year."
Dorris, however, denied the story. "Daisy is a good friend and she was ready to be the showstopper. I asked her not to as it was a seminar," she said.
