Actor Divyendu Sharma (below) went missing from the music launch of his upcoming film 'Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend' apparently over remuneration issues. A source says, "It is a low-budget film, yet we were ready to pay Rs 5,000 to the artistes for their hair and make-up. However, Divyendu demanded Rs 15-20,000. When the makers tried to reason with him, he demanded that his costumes be paid for. But that was also impossible for the makers. So, he chose to skip the event."
Ira Dubey, who stars in the film, has also been giving the promotions a miss. She is said to be upset over not being featured in the posters. Both actors, however, deny the buzz. Divyendu says, "I was not well that day and have been promoting the film." Ira states, "I am not promoting the film as I am shooting for an ad. There are no issues."
