The fact that John Abraham-Shruti Haasan starrer 'Welcome Back' will hit the theatres on May 29, 2015 is known. However, the latest development is that the duo's other release, 'Rocky Handsome', has been pushed to the end of this year because the actor wants his more commercially viable film — 'Welcome Back' — to release first.

According to a source, "John wanted 'Welcome Back' to release first, so when its release date was changed, Rocky Handsome's too was postponed. The actor feels that Welcome Back is a bigger film and releasing 'Rocky Handsome' after that would benefit the latter."

The source also adds that the director of 'Rocky Handsome', Nishikant Kamat doesn't want audience to get an overdose of the John-Shruti pair so he supports John's decision.

John Abraham remained unavailable for the comment, however, when contacted, director of 'Welcome Back', Anees Bazmee says, "I am not aware of the news. But if John has taken this decision, he must have thought for the betterment of both the films."
