Unlike Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt whose home gyms are always open to their pals and proteges, Akshay Kumar is known to keep his workout den private.

However, it looks like the Khiladi has now made an exception for 'Heropanti' actress Kriti Sanon, who features opposite him in 'Singh Is Bling'. The starlet is rumoured to have been given the privilege by the star to get herself in ship shape. The Khiladi's workout zone apparently consists of parkour, martial arts and gymnastic stuff as the actor believes that fitness is all about developing stamina.

Says a source, "Kriti has been working out at Akshay's gym. Eyebrows have been raised as the star normally does not allow access to others in his personal domain. He guides newcomers, but does not open his doors to them. He has certainly made an exception for Kriti."

The co-stars are slated to begin shoot for Prabhu Dheva's 'Singh Is Bling' in January. Buzz is that Kriti has also been taking martial arts lessons on Akshay's recommendation. "In fact, he was keen to cast her in the project after seeing her performance in Heropanti," adds the source.

Akshay and Kriti were unavailable for comment.
