>> Carry spare tires, and contact numbers of car care centres along the route you plan to drive through.
>> Check your rear view mirrors from time to time, especially if the road is filled with circuitous routes and bends.
>> Don’t overcrowd your car — it’s all right to not be Mr Cool.
>> And finally — don’t take your car out if the rains are in full force; it’s better to be safe than sorry.
