Kareena Kapoor Khan walked the ramp for designer Anamika Khanna on the closing day of Lakme Fashion Week 2015. The actress, however, apparently got upset when informed about a last minute change of venue, courtesy threats of protests by a political leader. Consequently, the show was shifted from the Dr Bhau Daji Lad museum in Byculla to a Lower Parel five-star.

Sources says since Bebo is the official face of a brand which was the show’s principal sponsor, she made it a point to be part of the glamorous event in spite of a hectic shoot schedule in Amritsar for 'Udta Punjab'. "But when she got to know that the venue was changed, she was evidently displeased and grudgingly walked the ramp, er, stairs," a source adds.

With a few hours for the show to begin, organisers were forced to use the lobby staircase as the runway. Another source says, "Kareena rushed to the new venue only to find out that the show was delayed. She was heard complaining about the inconvenience caused to her."

Kareena remained unavailable for comment.
