More than 2100 children between the age of 6 and 12 years participated in the AFC Grassroots Day Football Festival across 23 centres in Maharashtra recognised by the Western India Football Association (WIFA).
May 15, 2014 was celebrated as AFC Grassroots Day all over Asia and the kids from the state participated in huge numbers.
