Jaipur: A police constable's wife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in the government quarter in Mansarover area in the city.
Sapna, aged around 30 years, took the extreme step last evening in the quarter located on the premises of Mansarover police station where her husband Bablu Singh is posted.

"Bablu was not present in the house when she committed suicide. The body has been shifted to SMS hospital's mortuary and her parents have been informed about the incident," the police said.
Reasons of the suicide are not yet clear and the matter is being investigated, they added.
