Nashik (Maharashtra): A 33-year-old woman and her two children drowned inside a well in the district, police said today.
The incident took place on April 16 when the deceased Laxmibai Gangurde and her daughter Renuka (12) and son Anil (10), had gone to fetch water at a well in Kanchane village, an official attached with Devla police station said.

The trio accidentally slipped into the well and drowned, he said.
However, the matter came to light yesterday after Laxmibai's husband Vishnu went to the well to search his family members as they did not return home on Saturday (April 16), the officer said.
Vishnu informed the police after which they found their bodies inside the well. The bodies were fished out yesterday, he added.
