A 27-year-old woman was stabbed to death by unknown assailants when she was asleep with her family members at her home in Thane.
Unidentified miscreants killed a woman while she was sleeping in her house in Boisar area of Thane district, police said today.

The miscreants broke open the house at around 1.30 am yesterday and stabbed 27-year-old Poonam Virendra Prasad to death while she was sleeping alongwith her family, police said.
The motive behind the attack was yet to be ascertained. A case has been registered while search for the assailants was on, they added.u00a0
