Theu00a0Cyber Crime cell of the police arrested a 29-year-old woman techie who had created obscene profiles of a boutique owner and uploaded these on three adult websites.

According to the suspect, she had done this because the boutique owner had provided her clothes which caused her disappointment when she wore them on her honeymoon.

After the victim's husband came to know about it, the couple decided to lodge a complaint with the Cyber Crime Cell on Wednesday. Investigations revealed that same Internet Protocol (IP) and email address had been used to create the profile on the three websites.

The police found out the name of the person in whose name the IP address was registered and traced her to her Phursungi residence.

According to the Cyber Cell, the techie was called in for questioning and confessed. She was arrested and the laptop used by her for uploading the obscene profiles was also seized.

"The suspect had purchased some clothes from the victim's boutique.
