Sunderland FC's little fan, Bradley Lowery, who passed away last week after losing his battle to cancer, was laid to rest at Hartlepool, in England yesterday with thousands of mourners in attendance.

His mother, Gemma, read out a poem, describing how she would meet her little superhero again in the sky sometime. A recorder played out Bradley's voice too as he sang the final lines to a version of the Charlie Chaplin tune, 'Smile', and Charlie Puth's 'One Call Away.'

Gemma and Bradley's father, Carl, were joined at the service, among others, by former Sunderland star Jermain Defoe, who broke down during the proceedings.
