WR to run Bandra-Gorakhpur weekly superfast special train

For the convenience of passengers during summer vacations, Western Railway has decided to run a weekly Superfast Special train between Bandra Terminus to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, officials said today

Mumbai: For the convenience of passengers during summer vacations, Western Railway has decided to run a weekly Superfast Special train between Bandra Terminus to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, officials said today.


Commencing from April 9 this month, this special train would make 16 trips between the two destinations. WR, in a press release said that train No. 02534 Bandra (T)¿Gorakhpur (Weekly) Superfast Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 05.10 AM on every Saturday and reach Gorakhpur at 2.40 PM on the next day. This train will run on 09th, 16th of April, 28th of May, 04th, 11th, 18th and 25th of June and 02nd July, 2016 with total 8 trips.


Similarly while returning Train No. 02533 Gorakhpur¿Bandra (T) will leave Gorakhpur at 7 AM on every Thursday and will arrive Bandra (T) at 17.35 hrs the next day, it said. This train will run on 7 th & 14th of April, 26th of May, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th of June with total 8 trips.


The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Achhnera, Mathura Jn, Hathras City, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti and Khalilabad stations in both the directions.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Second Sleeper Class & Second Class General reserved coaches. Booking for Train No. 02534 Bandra (T)¿Gorakhpur Weekly Superfast Special will open from 7th April, 2016 with advance reservation period of 60 days at all counters and IRCTC website.
