WWE Raw witnessed the epic return of WWE superstar The Undertaker who had a huge announcement to make at the upcoming Royal Rumble 2017 event later this month.

Undertaker marked his return to WWE Raw and announced that he would be participating in the Royal Rumble event and stated it would be dark. He also warned anyone against standing in his way. He also made his intentions clear to headline WrestleMania 33.
Roman Reigns faced Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho in a 2-on-1 hnadicap match for the United States title. The match moved both ways with Owens and Jericho overpowering Roman Reigns, with the latter delivering fitting replies. However, after Kevin Owens powerbombed Roman Reigns and Chris Jericho followed it up with the code-breaker, Roman Reigns lost his US title.
WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Shawn Michaels too, made his return to the WWE Raw to announce his upcoming movie as well as reliving past Royal Rumble memories before Rusev and his wife Lana interrupted. Enzo Amore and Big Cass then entered as the latter challenged Rusev to a match, but Rusev declined. Cass faced Jinder Mahal and beat him while outside Rusev was met with Sweet Chin Music by Shawn Michaels.
Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman fought but were both counted out. As Strowman attacked Seth Rollins, he fought back with a chair.
Jack Gallagher defeated Drew Gulak with a running dropkick while Neville defeated Dorado with his rings of saturn submission. After Neville attacked Doraro, WWE Cruiserweight champ Rich Swann made the save.
Luke Gallows faced Sheamus in a match with their respective tag team partners Karl Anderson and Cesaro in the commentary. After Anderson attacked Cesaro, Gallows was distracted and Sheamus hit him with the Brogue Kick for the win.
