WWE SmackDown Live had some interesting results and events as John Cena confirmed his intention to become a record 16-time WWE world Champion during the main event

WWE SmackDown Live had some interesting results and events as John Cena confirmed his intention to become a record 16-time WWE world Champion during the main event.


WWE champion AJ Styles defended his title in the SD Live main event against Dean Ambrose where John Cena was on the commentary panel. During them atch, Style and Ambrose both took shots at Cena, before Styles pinned Ambrose for the win and retained his WWE title.


AJ Styles will meet John Cena and Dean Ambrose at No Mercy, a SmackDown Live exclusive main event on October 9th.

Meanwhile, Dolph Ziggler put his career on the line in a match for the WWE Intercontinental title against The Miz at No Mercy. Dolph would have to either win the title or retire from WWE.

Randy Orton decided to face his fears and give a fitting reply to his rival Bray Wyatt.

Alexa Bliss attacked her No Mercy opponent and SmackDown Women's champion Becky Lynch before a match.
