New Delhi: Chinese tech giant Xiaomi on Tuesday concluded the second flash sale for its flagship smartphone Redmi 2 on Flipkart. The online sale kickstarted at 2 PM and the only users who earlier registered for it were eligible to participate in the flash sale.
The company hasn't confirmed the time period during which all the handsets up for grabs were sold. Along with this, the company hasn't revealed the number of units made available for sale.

All the buyers who participated were assigned a limited time period to make the payment, and if they fail to do so, the phone will be removed from their cart. The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,999 and let's highlight specifications the company is offering at the given price.
Redmi 2 sports a 4.7-inch IPS HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The handset is clocked at 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It gets and 8MP camera on the rear surface and a 2MP camera on the front.
Xiaomi Redmi 2 will run on Android 4.4-based MIUI 6.0 software. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots with both supporting LTE (TDD-LTE Band 40 2300MHz and FDD-LTE Band 3 1800MHz), Wi-Fi, USB OTG, Bluetooth.
The last flash sale recorded 50,000 units of the Redmi 2 going out of stock in 87 seconds.
