Year later, former Pope has no regrets
A year after his shocking resignation, Pope Emeritus Benedict has no regrets.
In a rare interview the man closest to the Pope, Archbishop Georg Ganswein said Pope Benedict is at peace with himself and even at peace with the Lord after his decision.
Ganswein said the former Pope had no regrets about leaving office.
He added that the Pope, who resigned in February 2013 also held no resentment against his critics who the Vatican says misunderstood him.
