The challenge
To ensure that the film is actually made in 48 hours, the theme will be assigned to the teams on Friday itself. The organisers will also reveal three surprise elements that have to be incorporated in the film. Films submitted even a few seconds late will be disqualified. Teams can create original soundtracks, buy or borrow music provided they have the rights to use it, or use stock music for their films.

The prize
The films created over the weekend will be screened at Bahar theatre, Andheri (W) the following week. The winning film gets
Rs 25,000, and the top shorts will also be featured on MTV Indies. “See their hard work air on a TV channel will certainly excite our teams. We hope this brings out the best talent from India’s film hub. The chosen films will also be screened in the US and the top 10 short films from the world will be screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner,” informs Gopalkrishnan.
