The Charkop police has registered a case against a youth who posted a morphed photograph of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on social networking site Facebook on Wednesday. The accused is untraceable.

Assistant commissioner of police Ramesh Lohkare said, “A youth posted a photograph of Uddhav Thackeray with a chameleon’s face on it and posted unsavoury comments below it. A party worker brought it to our notice and a case was registered with the Charkop police on Friday. The accused is yet to be traced.”
Lohkare added, “We cross verified the accused’s Facebook account with the help of cyber crime team. The case is too sensitive.”
When sunday mid-day contacted investigating officer R More of Charkop police station he refused to divulge any details.
