A British woman has been charged with assaulting and demanding sex from an airline steward after drinking almost a pint of whisky
Katherine Goldberg, 25, whose company provides education services to primary schools and nurseries, allegedly assaulted the crewmember on a Virgin flight from South Africa to Heathrow, by grabbing his privates.
"Miss Goldberg was drunk whilst on the airplane," the Daily Express quoted Stella Waata, prosecutor as saying.
Watta claimed that Goldberg was believed to have consumed at least a pint of whisky and then "proceeded to sexually assault one of the crew members by demanding to have sex with him" and grabbing his privates.
The accused, wearing a white shirt and light pink trousers, wept in the dock as Uxbridge Magistrates' Court in Middlesex heard about the mid-air incident and spoke only to confirm her name, address and date of birth.
Goldberg was granted unconditional bail until her next appearance at the same court in a week's time.
