Sources claimed that despite phone calls made to senior officers, the Thane GRP refused to release the bodies until they rule out all suspicions. Said Sunil, "I am too shocked to say anything." Baby, Dinesh Singh's wife, said, "I am shocked about what has happened with my sister and her baby but I do not doubt her in-laws or husband; they are very good people."
