With the entire nation discussing Sachin Tendulkar’s impending retirement from cricket, how can B-Town be left behind? The latest buzz is that the makers of Dhoom 3 have decided to dedicate their popular franchise song Dhoom Machale to Sachin Tendulkar.
The song, which has been a constant in all Dhoom films so far, and the fans of the film series are familiar with the tune of the song. “The Dhoom team is keen to dedicate it to Sachin, who will be playing his last test series on November 14 onwards at the Wankhede Stadium,” says an insider from the production house.
According to the source, it was a decision taken by Yash Raj Films (YRF) and they have already written a letter to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) seeking permission to dedicate the song officially to the cricketing legend. “Aditya Chopra, Aamir Khan and director Vijay Krishna Acharya are Sachin fans. If they get the nod, then the Dhoom star cast will attend the match as well.”
As of now, YRF is working out the nitty-gritty of putting their plan into action. The spokesperson of the production company confirmed the story.
