Sex boxes will be opened in Zurich so prostitutes in the Swiss city have a safe place to work
Men can go to the drive-in sex shacks where they meet up with the prostitutes.
The boxes are being set up in an industrial area of Zurich and approved by the city council — they will be launched next August.

However, prostitution has been outlawed in several other areas of the city and women who use the box will have to obey certain rules.
They will have to take out medical insurance and pay £26 (Rs 2,250) for a licence. They will also have to pay five Swiss francs (Rs 295) into a ticket machine when they clock in each night.
Michael Herzig, from Zurich’s social welfare department, said, “The big difference is that until now, prostitution has been in the public space.”
He added, “Now we are going to change this, move it from the street to a private space. The women will be better protected from attack, and it will also mean better business for them.”
