| TV actor Neha Marda can do what superstar Amitabh Bachchan can’t |
And you thought you were deprived
Priyanka Chopra misses “lack of privacy” most
Shilpa Shetty hates being away from home, for long stretches
Amitabh Bachchan loves the days he could eat Paani Puri on the beach, without getting mobbed.

I miss Omelette on the beach
Says actor-director rohit roy
During our days as struggling actors, Himanshu Malik and I used to head to Juhu beach in the evening, and eat Mysore Omelette on a bench by the sea. It was the yummiest omelette in the world, and is the one thing I love most about the time I was a nobody.
A close second is eating Paani Puri and Bhel Puri at the roadside stall outside Elco Arcade. Though my cook can rustle up the same chaat at home, and I can order it in too, nothing beats stuffing your face on a crowded, bustling street, in anonymity.
I miss AC bus ride
Says television actor tassnim shaikh
AC BEST buses are the coolest form of public transport. You can travel in air-conditioned comfort in the scorching summer, on plush seats, and watch the city go by its business. The best part is, everyone gets a seat. That’s why I continued taking the bus even after I started my television career, but had to give it up eventually.
I miss Shopping at Fashion Street
Says singer and talent show judge Abhijeet Bhattacharya
Street shopping, especially at bargain stalls at Fashion Street, used to be my favourite pastime, until I became an established singer. Now, it’s difficult to shop even in London, America, West Indies and Mauritius, because of the influx of Indians there. I also loved travelling long distance by train. The bunk beds were cosy.
Drew Barrymore misses carefree girls’ nights out
“When I was a kid, I used to go to nightclubs with my girlfriends, and dance without inhibition,” Hollywood actor Drew Barrymore, recently revealed to a magazine.
She misses the fun and carefree feel of the 80s, compared to the paparazzi-driven culture that doesn’t let celebrities be.
Angalina misses staring at strangers
I can look no more: Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie has been forced to quit her favourite pastime since becoming famous staring at strangers on the train. She admits she used to board trains for the sole purpose of observing ordinary folk going about their lives, and "it was the hardest thing to lose".
