The nature of my work is such that my job is a stressbuster in itself. Working with music is wonderful — I feel like I’ve been on an 18-year long holiday. All my corporate friends envy me. However,
composing tunes for Bollywood films involves deadlines, which can create stress. That’s when I like to unwind with my Xbox console. Playing a game of Xbox tennis (Top Spin) after a hard day’s work, feels great. Restricting the number of hours you work is also an effective tool. I used to work 12 hours a day, but now, I follow the 10-hour rule — I never work beyond it. Daily push ups give me the energy I need to face the day.
I work ten hours a day. I am currently composing tunes for Madhur Bhandarkar?s Fashion, and Nagesh Kukunoor?s Aashayein
