Usually, newcomers shout from the  rooftops about their debut film, some even start off controversies even before the sets are made. But this is exactly what Jackie Bhagnani, popular film producer Vashu Bhagnani’s son is not doing. He has apparently started the shooting for the film a couple of weeks back.

Complete acceptance

A source on the sets reveals, “The film has already started and we are shooting non-stop. The Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein director Gautam Menon is directing it with a southern crew.

Maybe that’s why we are able to keep it so hush-hush.” For this yet-untitled film, a new actress from London is making her debut opposite Jackie.

An industry source spills more beans, “Vashu has been trying to launch his son, and had zeroed in on Ken Ghosh after seeing what he did for Shahid Kapur. But things didn’t work out and Vashu is now working with Gautam. The film is based on the 2006 college comedy, Accepted.”

Vashu Bhagnani admits, “Everything you are saying is right, but I am only going to make a formal announcement on December 25 which is Jackie’s birthday. I, however, plan to start the shooting by January-end as Jackie is still preparing himself.”
