Dastaan deals with a topical burning issue Every member of the cast has been sworn into secrecy. Santosh Sivan who has just done a short-film on AIDS in Kannada for Mira Nair and whose last feature film Rasa Rang dealt with the grey world of eunuchs is on to a unique project that features an  ensemble cast of Rahul Bose, Rahul Khanna, Victor Bannerjee, Sarika and Anupam Kher. Power packed The film entitled Dastaan is Santosh’s second in Hindi, after Asoka. Dastaan deals with a topical burning issue, just like Santosh’s most celebrated film to date, Terrorist. Says Victor Bannerjee, “I’m shooting   for the film in a volatile part of the country.  It’s a powerful theme. And Santosh  is a master-craftsman.”
