The London-bred actress is said to be working on her Hindi for the movie. A source close to Jiah reveals, “She is taking this project very seriously. Though she had many offers, Jiah was waiting for something substantial to come her way. With Ghajini she found the perfect role and an opportunity to work with one of her favourite actors — Aamir Khan. She is mentally preparing herself for this challenge. It’s a role with dramatic shades.” Recharging Presently chilling out with her family in London, Jiah refuses to divulge details about the film. “I am not allowed to speak about it. I will return to Mumbai soon though and am very excited about the project,” she says. When asked about her preparation for the role, she says, “There are many things I have to do. At the moment, I am just detoxing and getting myself in the best of health.” Jiah is scheduled to meet the director A R Murugadoss on her return, who we are told will assist her in improving her dialect. “Jiah’s Hindi has improved since she’s been staying in Mumbai. Earlier, she had a heavy accent but now she has improved. Once Jiah returns, she will have a tutor to help her neutralise the accent,” reveals a source. The film also stars Tamil actress Asin, who played the lead in the original but will play the second lead in the remake. | |||
