Inspired: Abbas-Mustan

If you all thought that Abbas-Mustan had put their DVD-remaking days behind them, we are sorry to tell you that you’re mistaken. The director duo’s Race (released on March 21) is inspired by Goodbye Lover (1998) featuring Ellen DeGeneres.

The secret’s out

An industry source reveals, “Race is such a blatant copy of the original! And to think that Abbas-Mustan had finally mended their plagarising ways and finally turned original. All their movies from Khiladi to Race have been rip-offs. Only this time, they managed to hoodwink the critics for a longer time. But now their secret is out.”     

Abbas-Mustan remained unavailable for a comment.
