Pyar kiye jaa: Amita Pathak

Producer Kumar Mangat’s daughter Amita Pathak is making her big screen debut in Haal-e-Dil with Adhyayan Suman (Shekhar Suman’s son) sometime this June.

Music director Raghav Sachar was initially offered the lead opposite Amita in the film. He turned it down because he wanted to brush up on his acting skills. Even though he lost the chance to romance Amita on-screen, it didn’t matter because Raghav is now dating Amita.

The two have been dating for a year now. Raghav has been giving the music for all of Kumar Mangat’s recent films One Two Three, Sunday as well as Amita’s debut movie.

Reveals a close friend of Amita, “She is quite in love with Raghav. They are a very private couple and have deliberately refrained from making any public appearances under strict instructions from her dad.”

The source further adds, “While shooting in Switzerland, she was often spotted shopping in the men’s section for Raghav. And by the end of the trip, had bagfuls of gifts for him.”

According a source from the unit, “She often accompanies Raghav for his recordings, and is very fond of his music. However the man of the moment denies that he is seeing Amita, “We are just good friends and people have mistaken our friendship. We are not dating for sure.”
