Celina Jaitly and Riya Sen bonded big time on the sets of Subhash Ghai's Paying Guests. Both the actresses would hang out together even when they were not shooting.

They just completed a schedule in Thailand; and on the last day of the shoot, the duo went out on a shopping spree to buy gifts for the entire unit that amounted to 60 people.

While Celina bought

T-shirts with raunchy and naughty messages on it, Riya settled for self-help books for some and touristy knick-knacks for the rest.

Says a unit source, "Both the actresses were heavily into retail therapy. Between the two of them they must have bought up all of Bangkok well almost! They'd not only visit the malls but even scour the street-side stalls. They shopped for personal and household stuff for themselves and everyone near and dear."

Gifting gals

On the gifting spree, Paritossh says, "It was extremely sweet of Celina and Riya. They had something for each and everyone in the unit including the helpers. I received a 'the middle finger is showing' T-shirt from Celina while Riya presented me with a 'How To Be Always Happy' book.

Everyone was surprised to receive presents and they personally gave it to everyone!" The unit returned to Mumbai on Wednesday except for Riya who is taking time off in Thailand with her parents (Moonmoon and Bharat Dev Varma).

Paying Guests, a comic caper, is directed by Paritossh Painter. Apart from Celina and Riya, the cast includes Neha Dhupia, Shreyas Talpade, Sayali Bhagat, Jaaved Jaffrey, Aashish Chaudhary and Vatsal Sheth.
