Says Anu, "I am a huge fan of David Lynch and it's a great experience to work with his daughter. Naagin will have an amalgamation of contemporary sound with deep-rooted melody.
There have been films on Naagins before, so I don't want to sound dated and go down the same route. I plan to compose tunes that even today's youngsters will enjoy."
Anu will record the Hindi version of the song with Shreya Ghoshal while his daughter Anmol will sing the English one. "Since it's a bilingual, we will compose songs in both the languages."
Great response
The composer adds that he's thrilled with the response to Ugly Aur Pagli's Talli song. "It's great to get compliments from youngsters who enjoy my sound. There are lot of young boys doing some great work today, and when they appreciate your work it feels good."
Anu is also scoring the soundtrack for Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambakht Ishq. "That's a big movie and I am really waiting for reactions to that soundtrack. I am also working on Harman Baweja's Victory."
