There was a time when directors would think a couple of times before hiring helicopters even for their climax sequences. Of late, you have directors like Ravi Srivatsa who did not think twice about hiring two helicopters for his film Madesha to capture a spectacular introduction of the lead star Shivrajkumar.

Flying high

It's not just these two helicopters, but the audience will get to see lot of European cars and bikes that have been used by Shivrajkumar for this movie. "Earlier, director Puttanna Kanagal used to get his lead stars to use two wheelers and cars just to portray their rich lifestyles.

I have not used expensive vehicles for my films before. However, this film requires all this to portray the lifestyle of my lead character. Shivrajkumar's 'intro' shows him landing in front of his office in a private helicopter. It's a huge expense for just two days of shoot, but it adds so much to the story," says director Ravi Srivatsa.

Thrilling

We've also heard that Shivrajkumar was more than happy to be a part of this shot.

"Shivanna was thrilled. Also, he has the ability to fit into any role that he's been offered. In this role, he looks smart and classy. I even worked along with costume department to design a look that suits the script," says Ravi.
